July-Nov. 08 - All testing normal.
Dec. 19, 08 - Consultation with MFM.
Dec. 22, 08 - Period begins.
Dec. 23, 08 - Deposit semen sample for analysis.
Jan. 13, 09 - First meeting with REI. B/W and U/S. Start Lupron injections (10 units).
Jan. 19, 09 - Freeze back-up semen specimen. Period begins.
Jan. 23, 09 - Start Armour Thyroid (60 mg.).
Jan. 27, 09 - B/W and U/S. IVF timeline set.
Feb. 2, 09 - Start Follistim (200 IU) and Doxycycline (100 mg 2 X day). Reduce Lupron to 5 units.
Feb. 5, 09 - B/W and U/S.
Feb. 7, 09 - B/W and U/S. Increase Armour Thyroid to 90 mg.
Feb. 9, 09 - B/W and U/S. Decrease Follistim to 100 IU.
Feb. 10, 09 - B/W and U/S. Discontonue Follistim and Lupron. Ovudrel injection at 10:00pm.
Feb. 12, 09 - ER (12 eggs retrieved, 11 fertilized). Discontinue Doxycycline.
Feb. 13, 09 - Start 0.1 mg. Estraderm patches (misunderstood directions and applied 1 patch instead of 2!) and baby aspirin (81 mg.). Accidentally started Endometrin vaginal inserts (100 mg. progesterone 3 X day) a day early (supposed to start 2/14).
Feb. 17, 09 - 7 embryos made it to Blastocyst stage. 5 Day SET. 6 embryos frozen. 1 Estraderm patch added.
Feb. 27, 09 - HPT = BFP!
Feb. 28, 09 - Blood serum pregnancy test BFP! Beta hCG = 165. Progesterone = 11.
March 02, 09 - B/W. Beta hCG = 416! Progesterone = 9.5. Switched from Endometrin to progesterone supp. (60 mg. 3 X day).
March 04, 09 - B/W. Beta hCG = 1100! Progesterone = 14!
March 05, 09 - Start PIO.
March 10, 09 - B/W and U/S. Beta hCG = 6933! Progesterone = 33.3! Yolk sac visible.
March 17, 09 - B/W and U/S. Progesterone = 37.7! Saw baby and heart beating :) Discontinue estrogen patches.
March 18, 09 - Cramping/bleeding. U/S showed baby is fine! Discontinue baby aspirin.
March 20, 09 - B/W and U/S. Progesterone = 38.4!
March 27, 09 - B/W and U/S. Progesterone normal. Heard heartbeat!
April 2, 09 - B/W and U/S. Week 9 appt (final with REI).
April 16, 09 - B/W and U/S. Week 11 appt (first with MFM).
April 18, 09 - Final PIO injection.
April 27, 09 - B/W. Progesterone above 90!
May 01, 09 - Discontinue progesterone suppositories.
May 21, 09 - B/W. Week 16 appt. HR = 168.
June 18, 09 - Week 20 U/S. Baby is a boy! HR = 153. Weight = 12 oz. Measuring 20 weeks, 2 days.
July 23, 09 - Week 25 appt. HR = 155. Glucose screen = 105.
August 20, 09 - Week 29 appt.
Sep. 3, 09 - Week 31 U/S. Baby is 3.5 lbs!
Sep. 15, 09 - First appt. with new MFM in CA.
Sep. 22, 09 - MFM appt and NST.
Sep. 29, 09 - MFM appt and NST.
Oct. 06, 09 - NST.
Oct. 13, 09 - MFM appt and NST.
Oct. 20, 09 - MFM appt and NST.
Oct. 24, 09 - Admitted to L & D for 24 hrs. of monitoring after spiking a fever of 101.4.
Oct. 27, 09 - MFM appt and NST.
Nov. 03, 09 - MFM appt and NST.
Nov. 08, 09 - Induction scheduled.
Nov. 09, 09 - Baby is born!

The Best Valentine's Present Ever

We have 11 little embryos growing! Transfer is scheduled for 10:00am on Tuesday, February 17th. I wish I could know how they're doing or even see them, but we wont know until Tuesday when we go in. It's crazy to think that there are 11 potential babies sitting in petri dishes in the lab right now, hopefully dividing and growing. Grow, little embryos, grow!
